The Freestyle group of companies, including Freestyle Composites, Freestyle Fiberglass, Freestyle Bathware and Bathroom Wholesaler was founded in Western Australia by Dave Clarke in 1983 and quickly grew with the demand for fiberglass products including Surfboards, Boats and Spa Baths and Composite Bathtubs. The company relocated to Wollongong in 2001 and grew into a force in the Bathware business when they pioneered the freestanding European bathtub by integrating Australian made surrounds and Kaldwei baths.
At the same time as Freestyle the leading market in the manufacture of freestanding bath surrounds they also produced spas, spa pools, bath surrounds, soaker baths, decorative window awnings, surf boards and pleasure craft. In recent years Freestyle relocated to larger warehouse facilities on the New South Wales South Coast and focused on Bathware manufacturing and resale of european brands.
